Note 2: Extent of newspapers reporting of the Kenneth Arnold sighting: it is impossible to me to reproduce all the newspaper articles that covered the Kenneth Arnold sighting. Just in the state of California, about 1000 newspapers published about it. Of course, most articles were the same articles from the Associated Press, with different headlines, and sometimes omissions or addiional information.
