French ufologist Jean Sider found in the newspaper La Résistance de l'Ouest for November 5, 1954, an observation of 4 November 1954, at 7:15 a.m. in Vallet, of a bright red ball leaving behind a trail of several meters, seen from several places in the town of Vallet by several people who have located it as being above the village of Courrères-Iseron and as going from West to East.

French ufologist Jean Sider found about the case in the newspaper La Résistance de l'Ouest for November 5, 1954, and he indicates that on November 4, 1954, at 7:15 in Vallet, a phenomenon of sharp red ball leaving behind itself a trail of several meters was seen from several places of the community of Vallet by several people who located it as being above the village of Courrères-Iseron and as going from the west to the east.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Loire Atlantique in Vallet on November 4, 1954 at 07:15 hours "several witnesses located in various places of the community observed a sharp red ball leaving a trail of several meters. It went from west to east and seemed to be above the village of Courrère-Iseron."

The website indicates that on 4 November 1954 at 07:00 in Vallet, France, there were "Many reports. More than one object was observed by several witnesses on a farm."

This is obviously a description of a meteor.
And the number of other reports at the same date, time and in the same region, strongly indicate that a meteor was seen.
