According to the Larry Hatch database in the 2000s, the magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit #325 for January / February 1994 reportedly indicated that there was an observation of the "flying saucer" kind in "Courere" on November 4, 1954 at 7 a.m.
There is no "Coureres" in France.
This is very likely the place called Les Courrères, in Vallet, above which a "saucer", in fact a meteor, had been located by witnesses in Vallet.

In that area, at that date and hour, there were many such poorly documented cases in the Press about a "flying saucer", and the best documented cases strongly indicate that a meteor passed by.
As for this case, it is very likely the observation of that meteor from Vallet.
