In 1982, the ufology group ADRUP, in Dijon, published a catalog of all flying saucer sighting reports published in the daily newspaper Le Bien Public of Dijon.
An article dated November 9, 1954, of this journal is reproduced, indicating that one of their readers, Miss Bartet, a well-known painter, resident member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature of Dijon, observed on Thursday, November 4, 1954 at 7:28 a.m. in Longeault a luminous celestial phenomenon.
She sketched the phenomenon:
The phenomenon was moving from east to west at about 800 meters, the newspaper said.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9: THIS IS THE CELESTIAL PHENOMENON THAT WAS SEEN IN LONGEAULT
One of our readers, Miss Bartet, a well-known painter; resident member of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature of Dijon, was able to observe, Thursday, November 4, in Longeault, a luminous celestial phenomenon, of which she took an exact sketch. We reproduce it below. It was 7:28, the phenomenon was moving from east to west (on the sketch, from right to left) at about 8oo meters.
