Two Norwegian Women Encounter... the Pilot of a Flying Saucer!

Oslo. -- Two Norwegian women, aged 24 and 32 - two sisters - have just experienced an extraordinary adventure. At least, that is what they claim. In the region of Mosjoen, about 300 kilometers northeast of Trondheim, they say they encountered the pilot of a flying saucer. Both had agreed to remain absolutely discreet, fearing that their story would make them seem unbalanced. However, one of them, pressed with questions by friends who had noticed her strange behavior that day, ended up recounting the unusual encounter. Yesterday, she reaffirmed her statements to the press.

A Gentle Stranger...

During their walk, the two sisters suddenly spotted a man crouching behind a tree. They were about to continue on their way when the man suddenly stood up and started laughing. Thinking he was a madman, the sisters prepared to flee, but the man, who appeared gentle, gestured for them to approach. One of them extended her hand in greeting, but the stranger merely clapped his hands and shook his head when offered a bucket of blueberries.

The man had dark features like a gypsy, was of average height, and wore a khaki-colored outfit. He spoke words the two women could not understand and then began drawing on something resembling a piece of paper—depicting the sun, the moon, and the Earth. He pointed to Earth, then to the sisters, repeated the gesture for another planet, and then pointed to himself.

A Craft Resembling Pot Lids

The man then motioned for them to follow him, and to their great astonishment, they saw a craft about one and a half meters high and three or four meters in diameter, resembling an assembly of giant pot lids.

One of the sisters attempted to touch the craft, but the man grabbed her arm and, for some reason, pointed to tree roots before climbing aboard his machine. In their confusion, the two sisters only recall that the craft began to spin on itself, slowly at first - making little more noise than a bumblebee - then faster and faster, until it quickly took off and disappeared over the horizon.

No Evidence

Accompanied by three police officers, the two sisters returned yesterday morning to the site of their adventure, where no evidence was found to indicate any kind of landing.
