The other day, he thought he saw a Martian, after returning from the hunt. And fired... It was only a modest earthman, repairing his car by the light of his headlights...
Fortunatetly it wasn't really a Martian...
That could have created a diplomatic incident with Mars.
And start the war of the worlds.
