As Winter approaches

The saucers migrate to Spain

MADRID. -- Did flying saucers, whose appearances are becoming rarer in France, move on to Spain like migratory birds as winter approaches?

A landing of a mysterious craft has been reported near La Coruña.

A motorist, Mr. Gonzalo Rubinos Ramos, who was traveling from Santiago de Compostela to that city, was immobilized by a breakdown at a spot known as "The Bishop’s Bend."

He then saw, 150 meters away, "a large, shining saucer."

A moment later, the craft rose into the air with a faint explosive sound and disappeared at a dizzying speed.

"I was so scared," said Mr. Ramos, "that I locked myself in my car. After that, I started to pray."

Photos

A second sighting was reported by two postal workers from Malaga, who were walking in the outskirts of the city looking for good photographic subjects.

One of them suddenly saw a circular object, about three meters in diameter and dark in color, moving slowly at an altitude of about 200 meters.

The two walkers immediately pointed their camera at the mysterious craft and, after taking their photos, hurried back to Malaga where they promptly handed their film to a photographer.

One of the photos was published by a Madrid newspaper, and the image clearly shows an oval spot that appears to be moving through the sky.

The two postal workers stated that the mysterious object, before disappearing behind a mountain, hovered very slowly above them for a few moments, then gained speed and altitude without making the slightest sound.
