NEW ZEALAND SCIENTISTS FORM A SOCIETY FOR "THE STUDY OF FLYING SAUCERS"...

WELLINGTON (New Zealand). -- Astronomers, technicians, and New Zealand pilots have formed a society for the study of flying saucers, in order to prove the existence of these craft. Members of this society claim that flying saucers are operated by a "highly intelligent being," because they avoid "earthly" aircraft and even pursue them. They highlight the significance of various testimonies collected in America and Europe, and propose the hypothesis that the recently gathered reports in Australia and New Zealand indicate the interest shown by this "highly intelligent being" in the Montebello experiments! ... BUT MILTON REYNOLDS IS STARTING TO DOUBT THEIR EXISTENCE

BERLIN. -- American millionaire Milton Reynolds, who offered a $25,000 reward (nearly 9 million French francs) to anyone who could bring him proof of the existence of flying saucers, declared yesterday that he is now fairly certain he will never have to pay out the sum. "I get," he said, "a bunch of crackpot letters, but no one has yet brought me even a shred of evidence."
