Epinal. -- The residents of Frasnes le Château (Hte-Saône), including the mayor, saw, in the sky, at nightfall, an elongated and shiny craft and behind it, an orange luminous trail. It advanced silently from west to east at the apparent speed of a jet plane. At the same time, a motorcyclist who was riding near RĂ©mi Fontaine (Vosges) saw in the sky a conical and shiny object followed by an iridescent light. This craft arrived like a bolide, he said, then suddenly disappeared vertically. This is perhaps what it would be appropriate to call: a flying cigar.
