Pretoria, 20. -- A spokesman for the South African Defence Service announced yesterday that objects which could resemble flying saucers had been sighted by several South African airmen and other reliable observers. "We have clear descriptions of a phenomenon seen by experienced officers trained to detect high-speed unmanned craft." A senior South African air force officer had also stated that the veracity of several of these reports was beyond doubt.
