At a time when flying saucers are occupying the minds of both the young and the old, and when several columns are devoted to them every day in all newspapers, it is said that a craft of this kind may have flown over the skies of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Several people, and not only children, claim to have very clearly seen on Tuesday evening, around 7:30 p.m., a luminous disc of orange color moving silently and at high speed in a south-to-north direction. How much credence should be given to this rumor? Is it the work of some pranksters? That seems unlikely. But we know no more than that.
