Angers, September 2 (from our special correspondent). -- From all over Anjou, trustworthy people reported yesterday that a brown disc, from which trails of an unreal green color were escaping, flew over the region. "The light that streaked across the sky was comparable," Miss Claire Cordier, a nurse in Angers, told us, "to neon sign lights that had escaped from their tubes. It was accompanied by a faint humming sound." This phenomenon lasted only a few minutes, but it was seen in Angers, in Château-Gontier, in Mayenne, and in Lion-d'Angers (Maine-et-Loire), all at the same time - 8:20 p.m.
