At the time of a second sighting, young Denis Léger, aged 11, told the other witnesses that it had already seen a flying saucer in St Stanislas de Kostka, Quebec, Canada, one year before, at the end of the July 1967 during the afternoon, his story appearing in the newspaper at the time of the second observation.
He indicated that the machine resembled a saucer, round and shiny, and it had followed him during five minutes at approximately 20 feet above ground-level and 500 feet away of him, as he was riding his bicycle. The machine had not made any noise.
The lower part was made of glass of 3 or 4 inches thickness, and he could see three people inside, one at an end and the two others at the other end. They were small and black.
There was nothing below and above, and Denis Leger acknowledged to his comrades that he had been really afraid and was glad not to see it anymore when he entered a wood to return home.

Albert Rosales notes that in St. Stanislas de Kostka, Quebec, Canada, on late July 1967 at an unknown time, about a year before his encounter of 7/28/68, 11-year old Denis Leger said a flying object, "resembling a round and shiny saucer," followed him for about 5 minutes, at 20-foot altitude, as he rode his bicycle. The bottom was made of glass 3 or 4 inches thick, and he could see three persons inside, one seated at one end and the others at the other. "They were small and black."

This observation does not seem to have been the subject of an investigation in order to assure the parameters of observations.
A crucial point of the observation is the distance, indicated as of 500 feet, that is to say 150 meters. This is a big distance, beyond the capacity of normal stereoscopic vision which bears on approximately 50 meters. Lack of details in description of the occupants, who are described only sparsely as small and black, allows easily to assume that the boy - it should be recalled that he is a 11 years old kid - could possibly have seen a helicopter, possibly further than 150 meters, no indication of a visual background limiting the importance of the real distance. It is not possible to be certain that he saw a helicopter; but only a full-fledged ufological investigation would have made it possible to exclude or reduce this possibility.
The young age of the witness can only limit the possibility of interpreting what he saw or thought he saw; an example sign of impossibility to consider a young kid as reliable observant in this case is that at the important distance he indicated, he could not have possibly determine that the glass parts of the object had several inches thickness. It is not normally possible, at a distance of 150 meters, or more or less in this order, to measure by the eye that glass panes would this or that thickness. This stresses that it would be risky to take the information given by the child as reliable base to affirm that one or another explanation would be the correct one.
