A local agricultural video-newsletter reported on June 13, 2019, the discovery of a crop circle in Saint-Hippolyte, with Thomas Jehl, farm manager in Guémar, cultivating the two wheat fields where the figures were made.
Thomas Jehl explained that a fellow farmer called him the day before at noon to report that he "saw strange things in the field"; he came to look and found that the wheat was lying in "pretty circles"... "quite impressive."
Thomas Jehl explains that the colleague thinks he saw people walking around with sticks; he thinks, with reason, that these "circles" are made with planks, "to lay down well, to flatten well" and that for geometric shapes, it "would be necessary to have strings, sticks,..."

The cultivator's wisdom has not been shared by at least one pendulum buff in the region who published his video in which he claims to have "proven" - by the sort of "evidence" long since refuted - that there is a "force" at work to leave us with a "message" that he does not know how to explain.

Thomas Jehl: "So these are two fields, er, which is just above the other, there is about... three and a half hectares in all, and... it is a colleague farmer who called us the day before yesterday at noon to tell us that, that he saw strange things, in the field and so we came to see, and we saw the wheat that was lying. That's... pretty impressive."
Thomas Jehl: "Well... he thinks he saw people walking around with sticks. So, uh, there you go, then again... we don't know anything more, we haven't seen anyone, we ... there you go."

Thomas Jehl: "It's the first time, we don't really know what it is, we don't know what it represents, uh... we don't know who did it, so it's, it's kind of weird, we... here we have no idea what it is."
Voice-over: "His field next to it, cultivated with the same variety of wheat, partly poured out due to the wind. The farmer was delighted that they had not suffered the same fate, and there you go. This phenomenon, although pretty, will also impact its yields. If he has his little guess on how these shapes were created, one thing surprises him, the grains do not seem to have been damaged."
Thomas Jehl: "I think you have to walk on it, but with wood boards or something, to lay it down well, to flatten it well. Then to make geometric shapes like that, uh... You would have to have strings, sticks, ... there you go, I don't know. It's... to flatten it, when we walk on foot, we manage to lay it down but that way we can't do it, see."
Thomas Jehl: "Well on the Internet one sees a lot of things like that, crop circles. So I saw that there was one that happened last week in the Val-d'Oise... and there you go... And then, is it the same people who did that I don't know!

A second video of the same origin titled "Return to Saint-Hippolyte on the plots of the crop circle with the contractor in charge of the harvest..." reports that the field was harvested on July 19. The harvester explains that harvesting the flattened parts is quite delicate, he lowers the device, not too low so as not to break it against stones.
We also learn that the farmer had placed boxes for donations at the edge of the field; they were broken, but the donations still made up for his loss of harvest.

A farmer discovered a mysterious crop circle in one of his fields near the city of Colmar, in the Haut-Rhin, in eastern Germany [!!!].
On Wednesday June 12, 2019, in the morning, the man, named Thomas, discovered enigmatic patterns and shapes in his wheat field in Saint-Hippolyte. He did not immediately realize that it was a crop circle. It was a friend who warned him:
"A colleague told me [this Tuesday] that he noticed something weird in my field. But when I went there [this Wednesday], initially I couldn't see much."
"It must affect 20 to 30 ares, on a plot of about three hectares. From the sky, it's even pretty to see!"
Unfortunately, the farmer is not sure that he will be able to save the wheat that has been laid:
"It would really surprise me if I could do something with it. It's a shame, for once it was a good season for wheat!"
He intends to notify the gendarmerie soon without filing a complaint. Now, what he especially wants to know is the origin of those who made this "circle of culture":
"There can be a lot of hypotheses. It's true that the wheat isn't cracked, as if something had come from above! But I don't think it's the work of anyone else than someone from Earth. After all, I didn't see anything, so I can't know!"
Is it the work of little prankster? For some, crop circles are made by extraterrestrial civilizations who wish to send us messages.

There was on June 15, 2019 on Youtube yet another video by StrasTV titled "A crop circle appears in Alsace", but it only shows images and does not provide any additional information.
There are several other videos on Youtube showing the crop circle of Saint-Hippolyte, with "inspiring music", but without comments or information.
There is a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azLMdGW1UFQ) of a dowser, Henri Warie, telling that he went into the field with Silvano Trotta "in June 2019". He says that there were "several crystal skulls" (!?!) there, that "other entities live among us". We then see him shaking a pendulum in front of a tree. We then see him near the crop circle, claiming "as a dowser I can certify to you exactly that in these places there was uh... a phenomenon of rather positive and constructive force, a force uh... quite important energy, of course, if you come there, do not stay there too long" so as not to deteriorate the field, "the symptoms present physically allow to confirm the presence of a phenomenon one says extraterrestrial, good, but of an intelligence which uh wants to submit to us to a message to meditate, it remains to discover the meaning, of course that is not within my competence, at least I will try to understand it, it is not a simple obviousness of course."
We are then entitled to the good old error on the "exploded stems nodes", "ears lying in the same direction" (obviously, with the flattening boards!), "ghost traces" and other pseudo "evidence" that I refuted a long time ago.
There were several "crop circles" in nearby Moselle in those years. The group that created them was the subject of a report on the regional TV channel France 3 Grand-Est broadcast on September 20, 2018.
They demonstrated in front of the cameras how to create a crop circle, that of Saraltroff in Moselle, at night, made in two hours:
