According to three ufological catalogs of the 1970s, the newspaper Centre-Matin for September 3, 1954, had indicated that - in the days which preceded, probably - at 9 o'clock, a Mr. Petitjean, employee of the EDF national power company who was working on a power line near Lurcy-Lévis with his comrades, observed a craft in the shape of an upside-down plate that was moving rapidly in the sky at a rather low altitude.

A few days before September 3, Mr. Petitjean, from the EDF, and his comrades observe a craft, upside down plate shaped, moving at low altitude.

The report is of course too meager for a solid evaluation; but this might have been a plane or helcopter or even a meteor.
