Ufology catalogs of the 1970s reported that on October 5, 1954, at 9 p.m. in Saint-Victor in the Allier department, a woman of the town who was fetching water saw a huge ball of fire that crossed the sky from East to West.
The case is said to have been noted in the newspaper La Montagne for October 7 and / or 8, 1954.

The two authors indicate that on October 5, 1954 at 09:00 p.m., in Saint Victor, in the department of Allier, the observation of an enormous fireball of orange color occurred.
The authors indicate that the source is La Montagne, October 7, 1954.
