In 1997, the French ufologist Jean Sider reported in his book about the 1954 French wave that the newspaper La Résistance de l'Ouest for November 5, 1954, had reported an observation of November 4, 1954, at 7:05 a.m., by Eugène Jollet and Henri Guilbaud, two farm workers, working at the Reffé house in Pont-Rousseau, as they went to work.
They had seen "a craft in length representing five to six lighted lamps (sic) which rose in the sky without making noise."
[Ref. jsr1:] JEAN SIDER:
French ufologist Jean Sider found about the case in the newspaper La Résistance de l'Ouest of November 5, 1954, and he indicates that on November 4, 1954, at 7:05, Eugène Jollet and Henri Guilbaud, two farm workers for the Reffé house of Pont-Rousseau, were going to their work.
They then saw "an elongated machine accounting for five to six lit lamps (sic) which went up in the sky without making noise."
[Ref. lcn1:] LUC CHASTAN:
Luc Chastan indicates that in the Loire Atlantique in Rezé on November 4, 1954 "at 07:05 hours at the place Pont Rousseau, two witnesses observed an object of the length of 5 to 6 lit lamps going up in the sky."
The source is indicated to be my website at http://ufologie.net.
This is obviously a description of a meteor.
Moreover, the number of other reports at the same date, in the same region, strongly indicate that a meteor was seen at about 07:15 a.m.
(These keywords are only to help queries and are not implying anything.)
Pont-Rousseau, Loire-Atlantique, machine, luminous, lights, ascending, Eugène Jollet, Henri Guilbaud, silent
