Author Jean Sider, in a catalog of previously unpublished cases from 1954 in France published by the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La nuit #325 of January - February 1994, reports a series of cases he found in the newspaper Les Nouvelles du Morbihan for November 14, 1954.
One of them is dated November 4, 1954, in Le Sourn, in Morbihan:
Leaving their farm at 6:30 a.m., Messrs. Jacques Leclainche and Joseph Postic, farmers in Locmaria, were surprised to find that we could see as clearly as day.
They distinguished, at a low height, an oval, white craft, of great luminosity, which "disappeared" towards the south, "as if rolling on itself."

The magazine indicates that on November 4, 1954, at 07:00 a.m., in Le Sourn, the Morbihan, there was a case more or less corroborated by other observations made that same morning in the area.
Leaving their farm at 6:30 a.m., Jacques Leclainche and Joseph Postic, farmers in Locmaria, were surprised to see that it was clear as daylight. They distinguished that at low height there was an oval craft, white and of great luminosity, which disappeared towards the south, like rolling on itself.
The same phenomenon apparently was seen by Mrs. Le Corre, from Kervern, at 6:30 also. There were other witnesses, in Guériellec, in Kermer, in Kerlay and in Melrand, who provided very similar testimonies.
At 7:00 a.m. the phenomenon was observed by several inhabitants of Pontivy, and at about the same time, a farmer of Kerhulu who was driving his horse to the blacksmith arriving near Kerserre, near Le Sourn, was literally dazzled by two very bright lights seeming to come from two headlights.
The man and the animal remained for a moment frozen in place by fear. Almost immediately, a machine took off from the ground, rose, and disappeared.
Dazzled by the light, the man could not distinguish many details. He estimated that the craft might have been 5 to 7 meters long.
Later, when the day came, he returned to the site to look for traces, but found none. At the time of his observation, a resident of the town had noticed a luminous ball in the sky, so bright that "one could have seen a pin on the floor".

French ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in an article from the newspaper Les Nouvelles du Morbihan, of Vannes, for November 14, 1954 on page 4, that on November 4, 1954, at 6:30 in the morning in Le Sourn in the department of Morbihan, Jacques Leclainche and Joseph Postic, farmers in Locmaria, left their farm when they noted that it was clear as daylight in the farmyard.
They saw at a low height an oval machine of a great luminosity and white color, which then disappeared towards the south while rolling on itself.
The same display is contemplated by Mrs. Corre, of Kerven, during a morning walk at 6:30 a.m. also. Other witnesses of Guériellec, Kermer, Kerlay and of Malrand reported identical testimonys.
At 7 o'clock in the morning, the phenomenon is observed by several inhabitants of Pontivy, and at approximately the same hour, a farmer of Kerhulu who was leading his horse to the blacksmith in the darkness, whereas he arrived near Kerserre, close to the Le Sourn, was literally dazzled by two excessively sharp lights appearing to come from two headlights.
The man and the animal remained one moment absolutely frozen by fear. Almost at once, the machine rose from the ground, took altitude and disappeared. Dazzled by the light, the man could not distinguish much, but estimated that the machine might have measured 5, 6, or 7 meters in length.
Later at daylight, he returned on the location to seek possible traces, but did not find any.
At the same time, a resident of the borough noticed a luminous ball in the sky, "so luminous that you could have seen a needle on the ground."

Donald Johnson indicates that on November 4, 1954, at 6:30 a.m. a six-meter wide diameter disc was seen spinning in the sky over a farm in Le Sourn, Morbihan department, France. It flew toward the south, making multiple landings and emitting beams of light. The farm animals were frightened by it. The incident lasted 30 minutes.
Donald Johnson indicates that the source is Larry Hatch, U computer database, case 4129, citing Jean Sider, Dossier 1954 et l'Imposture Rationaliste, p. 125.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Morbihan in Melrand on November 4, 1954 at 06:30 hours, at the place called Locmaria two witnesses observe a white oval object very luminous illuminating the landscape as in full day. It disappears towards the south while rolling on itself. "Observation also at the location Kervern, Kermer, Kerlay and in Merland directly."

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Morbihan in Le Sourn on November 4, 1954 at 07:00 hours "a farmer arriving on the side of Kerserre was dazzled by two very sharp lights seeming to come from two headlights. The man and his horse remained a while on the spot frozen by the fear. At once an object rose from the ground, took height and disappeared. The object is estimated between 5 to 7 m in length. At the same time an resident of the borough observed a luminous sphere in the sky extremely luminous illuminant the landscape."

The website indicates that on 4 November 1954 at 06:30 in Le Sourn, France, a 6 meters diameter disc spins, flies rapidly to the south. There were multiple landings, beams of light, frightened animals, multiple independent witnesses.
The website adds: "One multi-colored disc, about 20 feet across, around 100 feet away, was observed by a male witness on a farm for 30 minutes."
