The two authors indicate that in Décize in the département of the Nièvre, on October 16, 1954 at an unspecified time, there was an observation of a luminous ball similar to a star.

They say the source is La Montagne for October 19, 1954.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the "Nièvres" in Décize on October 16, 1954 at an unknown time, there was an "Observation of a luminous ball looking like a big star."

Luc Chastan indique que sa source est "Ovni, Premier dossier complet... par Figuet M./ Ruchon J.L. ** éd. Alain Lefeuvre 1979".

6 - Decize (Nièvre)

What is going on in Decize? The UFO come regularly visit to this village... In February 1974 an engineer observed a flying cigar. Before that one had already observed a ball of fire in the sky in October 1954... But Decize had the honor to be the theatre of the one of the first appearances of flying objects in France in the post-war period. On September 6, 1946, witnesses saw a noisy flying object leaving a trail of fire in the sky.
