The article below was published in the daily newspaper La Voix du Nord, France, on July 21, 1993.
WEIRD FACTS. Traces of undetermined origin, consisting in particular of two circles of 21 meters in diameters [sic] each, were discovered in the middle of a wheat field yesterday in Itteville in the Essonne.
These traces would have appeared about ten days ago, according to the owner of the land. He, who does not believe in UFOs, had then alerted the police. The investigations carried out by the police revealed that they were "geometric shapes that appear symmetrical", two tangential circles from the edge of which two "branches" of about fifteen meters long and 1.50 m wide depart. Each of these branches ends with a circle of about 12 meters in diameter.
