A luminous red and green object, moving from east to west, was seen on July 3 at 7:40 p.m. (local time) by the weather observer and ten other members of the Chilean detachment to the Navy, who made no comment. According to the Tella agency, the sighting involved a whole flotilla of red and green saucers with yellow edges that flew in circles for more than two hours in the starry night, leaving behind a dazzling trail.
The Tella agency indicates that these saucers had also been seen by personnel from the British and Chilean bases.
Furthermore, we learn that the commander of the "Chilean" base Pedro Aguirr Cerda, in Antarctica, informed his superiors that an unknown celestial object, reminiscent of a space vehicle in its appearance, had been seen on July 3 by nine people from the base for about twenty minutes and at a height of 45° above the horizon.
After zigzagging and stopping at times, the object, according to the base commander, disappeared in a southerly direction at a speed of dazzling.
On June 18, a similar phenomenon was observed by the base personnel.
