Los Alamos, April 20. -- Several officials at the Los Alamos atomic center said last night that they had seen flying saucers hovering about 6,500 feet above the facility.
This fact presents the U.S. authorities with a difficult problem to solve. The military has, in fact, maintained until now that such craft existed only in the imagination of those who believed they saw them and has refused to send fighters in pursuit of them.
However, the security of the United States seems difficult to reconcile with the presence, even supposed, of apparitions of unidentified craft over a major military area.
