Cap-de-la-Madeleine (MF). -- Late yesterday evening, Cap-de-la-Madeleine Public Security officers received a few calls from people who had seen an unidentified flying object in the Pie-XII Boulevard area not far from the St-Maurice River.
According to eyewitnesses, the object was much lower than a shooting star could have been. The object, from which a slight orange glow escaped, left behind a kind of whitish smoke.
The mysterious object was slowly flying from north to south at about 300 feet above the ground. A motorist and his three passengers, who saw the phenomenon, stopped pedestrians to ask them if they had heard a noise, which was not the case.
