Mr. Eugène Calon, masonry contractor, reports that he saw on Tuesday around 8:30 p.m., a globe of about thirty centimeters in diameter, giving the appearance of a lit lamp, after having remained 5 to 6 seconds without moving, it disappeared quickly, making a trail resembling an electric discharge. Mrs. Calon also saw this object which was at a great height, roughly above Pont-de-Briques. Other people, also trustworthy, confirmed to us the words of Mr. and Mrs. Calon.
