Tain-l'Hermitage, Nov. 5
The flying saucers made a victim last night, Mr. Neyret, a farmer in Tain-l'Hermitage, whom one of his neighbors had mistaken for a Martian.
In the dark, his neighbor, a winegrower, saw a silhouette that seemed "extraordinary" to him. "He's a Martian!" he told to himself. He armed himself with a stick and hit poor Mr. Neyret with redoubled blows, who has a protruding ear and had to see a doctor.
