FLYING SAUCERS

The Martian of Montluçon said only one word
gas oil

Saucers keep flying, as do barrels, cigars, etc. In this field, things range from the strange to the downright odd. A new tourist has appeared in France: the Martian. He is about 1.2 meters tall (on average), covered in hair (a practical way of solving the clothing problem), has large eyes, and speaks a language so unintelligible that he generally gives up trying to make himself understood by the locals after a few brief attempts at fraternization accompanied by pats on the shoulder, friendly greetings, etc.

The latest one seen near the Montluçon station reportedly said "gas-oil" to Mr. Laugère, a railway employee. Seeing himself misunderstood despite this effort at bilingualism, he shot straight up vertically. These beings travel in curious machines, unknown to us, very fast and very bright; those who see them are so dazzled that one wonders whether they have not imagined things just a little.

Several hunters from the commune of Saint-Ambroix reportedly saw seven tiny beings of this kind, whose shape vaguely resembled that of a human body. When they tried to approach, the beings rushed toward a phosphorescent craft which immediately took off (very rapid tourism).

At the spot where the pilots of the flying saucer had been, the hunters discovered on the ground a number of seeds of strange appearance, which they had examined by seed merchants. The latter were unable to classify them within any known species.

Toulouse, October 14. -- Oily traces were found this morning in several places on a vacant lot located in a suburb of Toulouse.

According to the statements of three witnesses, the mysterious craft, piloted by a figure wearing a diving suit, landed on this ground yesterday at 7:35 p.m.

"L'Humanité Dimanche," the day after tomorrow, will provide scientific answers to the question of flying saucers.
