REIMS (from our correspondent). -- It was a mechanic from the Panhard factories in Reims, Mr. Joseph Roy, 30 years old, who supposedly had the fortunate advantage of spotting a craft a few meters off the road from Reims to Rethel, on a side path.
On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, as he was riding his motorcycle, he suddenly saw in front of him, as he stated, a bright, reddish light that suddenly disappeared.
Upon reaching the spot where he had seen the light, he noticed a strange object in the fields, 3 meters long, shaped like a large shell, with portholes at the front.
He also noticed a vague silhouette. However, frightened, he fled. Three other workers are said to have seen the same light at the same location.
