Tain-L'Hermitage, 4. -- The flying saucers made a victim last night, Mr. Neyret, a farmer in Tain-L'Hermitage (Drôme), whom one of his neighbors had mistaken for a Martian.
In the darkness, his neighbor, a winegrower, saw a silhouette that seemed "extraordinary" to him. "It's a Martian," he said to himself, he armed himself with a stick and beat poor M. Neyret with redoubled blows, the latter has a torn ear and has been forced to consult a doctor.
