ELBEUF. -- Three young people of La Londe, a village near Elbeuf, revealed yesterday, to the gendarmerie, that they had seen, Sunday April 8, a flying saucer moving at seven or eight hundred meters of altitude.
The machine, a disc of ten meters in diameter, was surmounted by a red cupola, while wings releasing an orange yellow gleam rotated under the craft.
During more than twenty-five minutes, the "not identified" object hovered above their heads, making only some sudden yaws at weak pace, then it disappeared at high speed towards the North.
The young people said to the gendarmes that this vision had frightened them too much to enable them to talk about it earlier.
