Yesterday we informed our readers of the origin of the rumors that circulated throughout the city on Thursday regarding the appearance of fantastical beings on the road to Vrigne-aux-Bois, and we believe that the tone of our article was sufficient to highlight the reservations that such news entailed, and which we have, moreover, preached.
As we announced, Mr. Sadi Levy, the hero of this adventure, was questioned by the police and merely confirmed what he had told numerous people.
We leave him to be the sole judge of his statements, and we, for our part, felt it was unnecessary to consult law enforcement officials and public officials to form an opinion on this matter and to share it with our readers yesterday.
