UFOs,
they're seen everywhere:

bananas, cigars, cubes...

On Wednesday morning, as reported in our columns yesterday, a group of amateur astronomers from Mulhouse observed a group of UFOs in the sky over Thann: one orange-colored object in the shape of a cigar, the others being more cube-shaped.

This information triggered numerous reactions yesterday: about ten people claimed to have seen UFOs as well. Among them were two individuals, whose testimonies are as follows:

A resident of Sausheim told us that he had recently observed several times, and again on Wednesday, a luminous flying object which, by his estimation, was each time located in the sky at around 2 km altitude in the Thann-Cernay area. This reader, a trustworthy man, had never spoken to anyone about the phenomenon for fear of ridicule, and it was only after reading our article yesterday that he decided to respond.

"From the window of the building where I live," he said, "I can sometimes follow with binoculars the movements of a UFO that generally travels northward from the Rosserg massif. It is not a cube-shaped object, but rather a sort of luminous banana, so bright that at times it could be mistaken for a star. Last night (Wednesday), the UFO suddenly went dark, and for a moment I noticed it appeared to be hanging from a kind of trapezoidal or triangular-shaped body. The duration of the phenomenon? More than half an hour on some evenings."

Another reader, who lives in Riedisheim, saw a UFO on Wednesday morning above La Vancelle. Accompanied by his son and a friend, this reader was at Taennchel, observing the ruins of Frankenburg Castle through binoculars, when he saw — as did his companions — a kind of enormous white balloon, of very intense brightness, above the ruins, slightly offset from the castle.
