A luminous globe
in the sky of Brive

Brive (C.P.) -- M. Henri Maury is shy and moreover, he fears the ridicule. That is why he said nothing of what he had seen when he read in the press that the existence of mysterious phenomena was reported on all sides.

"One night at my house," he said, "between midnight and 1 a.m., the window of my bedroom being opened, I saw, traveling in the sky, a kind of luminous globe resembling a star, and which came from the direction of the airfield (this airfield, near Brive, is located on the road to Bordeaux)."

"It was not a shooting star, since this red disk stopped shortly above the railway station for about three-quarters of an hour. That's when the globe, like rays, sparked multicolored blades."

"After about three quarters of an hour, the globe, amputated of its blades, resumed its motion and disappeared in a luminous trail."
