THE MIRROR CORNER

Martians are seen everywhere. It's raining Martians! Wrapped in cellophane, cluttered in stove pipes or fur coats!

They run away, or kiss shepherdesses. In short, good chaps.

However, the other day, a hunter from the Saône-et-Loire fired, he said, his buckshot on a disc, which would have left feathers, in this case sheet metal debris, in the adventure!

What will Martians think - if there are Martians - of our welcome? They who were perhaps roaming the Beaujolais vineyards in the hope of tasting the new wine? Instead of wine, they found bullets.

If by chance, I meet a "Martian" at the corner of a road, I would hasten to advise him to leave quickly in his saucer and come back in a thousand years.

Mankind may have found the path to brotherhood in the meantime.
