This article was published in the daily newspaper L'Echo du Berry, La Châtre, France, on October 10, 1954.
One of our compatriots, a doctor worthy of faith, collected the testimony of three of his customers of Vic-Exemplet-en-Berry. Whereas they were crossing the wood of Mouillère, these three farmers returning by night on bicycles were stopped and like paralyzed in the side by the very close evolutions of a saucer corresponding to the usual descriptions. One of them, who hitherto was rather skeptic and sincerely hoped to be confronted to the presence of such a machine, had its share and returned home extremely moved, it is said.
The French flap of 1954 is documented here.
