TUPELO, Miss., July 9 - A Tupelo garageman and private airplane pilot, J. H. Minga, claims one brush with a flying disc is enough for him.
Minga said he and his small daughter were flying over Red Bay, Ala., when a fast traveling disc almost collided with the plane.
"Only the fact that I had my little girl with me kept me from taking to my parachute," said Minga.
He said the disc seemed to dip toward the plane at one point despite the fact that he dived toward the ground to avoid it.
