Besançon, October 26. -- Mr. Franzesko Beuc, 48, a farm worker in Orchamps-Vennes (Doubs), stated that on October 12 he saw a flying saucer, but, fearing he would not be believed, had until now remained silent.
Fifteen days ago, around 9 p.m., Mr. Beuc was returning to the farm where he works when he suddenly noticed, stationary at the roadside, a craft resembling in particular the shape of a 4 CV, supported by four wheels about 40 centimeters in diameter.
The farmer approached to within one meter of the machine and noticed nearby a being about 1.50 meters tall, dressed in a leather outfit and wearing a cap. When Mr. Beuc called out to the mysterious pilot, the latter quickly climbed into the craft, which, after rolling for about thirty meters along the road, took off like an airplane and rapidly gained altitude.
