We received the following letter from Mr. Gaston Moniot, residing in Perrigny-les-Dijon:
On Saturday morning, around 7:45 a.m., I was in my yard when my eyes were drawn to a bright, dazzling light coming from an elliptical-shaped, shiny object moving rapidly through the sky in a roughly northwest to southeast direction. Given the speed and brightness of the object, I had the impression that it was flying at a relatively low altitude. Its disappearance was sudden and silent. The disc remained visible for five to six seconds. Perhaps it had been visible earlier, but I had not noticed it.
Was this one of those mysterious and ghostly flying saucers that, in recent days, seem to have resumed intense activity? The mystery remains.
