FLYING AND ROLLING SAUCER

Besançon, October 26. -- Mr. Franzesko Beuc, 48 years old, an agricultural worker in Orchamps-Vennes (Doubs), stated that on October 12th, he saw a flying saucer but, fearing he would not be believed, had remained silent until now.

Fifteen days ago, around 9 p.m., Mr. Beuc was returning to the farm where he works when he suddenly saw, motionless at the side of the road, a craft particularly resembling a 4CV [car], supported by four wheels about 40 centimeters in diameter.

The farmer approached within a meter of the vehicle and noticed nearby a being about 1.50 meters tall, dressed in a leather coat and wearing a cap. When Mr. Beuc called the mysterious pilot, the figure quickly climbed into the craft, which, after rolling about thirty meters along the road, took off like an airplane and rapidly gained altitude.
