Here is ufology bulletin of Chile "UFO Chile" No. 4, page 8, published in Chile in April 1968. Impossible to find so far outside Chilean ufological circles, the newsletter was sent to me with mayn other treasures by an 87-year-old veteran Chilean ufologist in 2018, and is presented here for the first time with reproduction of the original pages, and my transcripts in Spanish, French, and English.

brilliant UFOs, according to the details given to "La Segunda", by the main witness, domiciled at 4704 Isabelle La Catholica, who were at low altitude, about 300 meters, and separated from each other by about one kilometer, of distance.

To describe the brightness that they gave off, Marta de Marchant said they were "like gold" and that their shape was "similar to those mirrors they sell in the old houses, oval and surrounded by streaks of bronze or wood."

One was seen to the northeast and the other to the northwest, seen from Isabel la Católica Street. After being motionless for a quarter of an hour, during which the Marchant family observed them, the one who was towards the mountain range began to climb diagonally, soon losing himself among the clouds.

THEY GO AWAY

The one who was west sent a small red jet when it started moving a few minutes later, and it was slowly lost of sight. It was seen advancing among the clouds that covered Santiago at that moment.

A daughter of the hostess invited herself into the conversation to clarify that the two UFOs seemed like "tears suspended in the sky".

The dog in the next house barked furiously throughout the appearance of UFOs, which were also seen by people in Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci.

The FACH [Chilean Air Force] knew nothing about the phenomenon, but an official told "La Segunda" that if the description of the phenomenon is accurate, it is not a sounding balloon either.
