It is said UFOs are seen in Sicily, Italiy:

On August 11, 2018, the Italian website Savona News reports that holidaymakers saw a fleet of UFOs in Sicily:

"A disturbing episode occurred last night in the sky of Marina di Modica."

"In wave of UFO sightings all over Italy Yesterday evening, there was news of a disturbing episode in the Albisola but, at about a thousand kilometers, something similar happened."

"That's what a 29-year-old scientist on holiday with friends in Sicily, in Marina di Modica, G. P., says."

"The young man from Savona explains: 'We went up on the terrace on the roof of a guest house, to witness the shooting stars rain in San Lorenzo and the manifestation of the lanterns launched from the sea. At some point, however, we see something that has nothing to do with the meteors, or with these luminous balloons, because many luminous objects arrive in linear flight, white lights, not yellow-orange like lanterns. In addition, while the objects used during the festival move with a regular and vertical movement from the sea to the sky, we can observe these white lights making maneuvers, acrobatics and completely unpredictable trajectories. After a while the big fleet, whose count gradually extended to count nearly one hundred objects, went in a perfectly straight line, it realized a first linear and curvilinear path, paused for a few moments at a fixed point in the sky and finally disappeared.'"

"Is there a link between the Sicilian episode and the Albisola episode? After all, statistics reveal that these UFO sightings still involve mysterious objects capable of covering thousands of kilometers per hour. Could the specimen in the sky of the Savonese Levante have split for obscure reasons from the fleet?"

"Finally, it is interesting to note that the Sicilian town of Marina di Modica has been at the center of many sightings of unidentified flying objects in the recent past, in particular a real wave in 2014."

"UFO" spotted in the sky of the region of Mons, Belgium:

On August 3, 2018, the dhnet.be website assures that a "UFO was observed in the skies of the Mons region", where "a mobile and fast red dot intrigued the residents of Mons":

"Many people in the Mons and Borinage region testified that they saw an unidentified flying object on Thursday evening [August 2, 2018], around 11 p.m. It was a reddish spot that moved relatively quickly but with irregular movement. It flew at a certain speed, then descended, glowing brightly before disappearing, it's not a shooting star, it's much bigger," says a user who shared his comment on Facebook.

"It's also not the planet Mars, visible last night but still standing in the sky. What was this UFO? Some people evoke a plane but the movement would not match. Other web users evoke the International Space Station (ISS) was visible in recent days in the sky. It could also be drones flying over the region or even flying lanterns heated with candles even if the height seems disproportionate.

"One thing is certain, this object has had the gift of intriguing the Montois." "I have already observed this many times," said another person. "It has a speed 2 to 3 times greater than an airliner. It moves vertically and horizontally, once it appeared at such a place, moved at the speed described, then disappeared, and then it reappeared at the starting place. It is impossible to know what it is."
