In March 2014, I found on a UFO website a report filed by someone under the pseudonym "agartha" about his observation on December 18, 2012, of a multicolored unidentified flying object, green, red, orange, blue.
This person was driving his car with his son and was between Plobsheim and Erstein at 07:20 p.m., when suddenly the latter pointed out to him something like an airplane flying over a field at low altitude at the level of the village of Plobsheim.
The person thought it was flying quite low for an aircraft, and also, though it flickered like a plane, its lights changed color from red to blue and green to a very bright yellow-orange. After thinking about it the witness thought it could not be a plane, as it was also was hovering and its movements were jerky. The witness then thought it was a helicopter.
The witness slowed down, and he thinks the people in the cars behind must also have seen the same impressive sight.
The son pointed out that it was moving too fast to be a helicopter, because as the car drove away it moved briskly and still with jerked moves.
They now saw it only from afar, but it suddenly, in a few seconds, rushed again to their position, which greatly impressed them.
When the car entered a small wood, they lost sight of it.
The witness wanted to know whether there were other witnesses, and regretted he did not have his cellphone with him, as he would have filmed the entire show.

Description of the facts:
I was driving my car at the moment, when suddenly my son pointed out to me like a plane flying over a field at low altitude at the height of the village Plobsheim.. I thought it was flying quite low for a plance (plus it was blinking like an airplane except that the lights changed color, they went from red to blue and green to a very bright yellow-orange ) After thinking about it I thought that it could not be a plane because it was even standing still and moving jerkily, so I concluded that it was a helicopter .. Then I slowed down, I think the cars behind me saw the same thing ! I am convinced that we were not the only witnesses of this awesome show .. But my son pointed out to me that it was moving too fast to be a helicopter, because as we went away it moved briskly and still in stutters.. Then we saw it only in the distance when suddenly in the space of a few seconds, it was back at our level.. Awesome!!!! Then we entered a small wood, it was gone, we had unfortunately lost it from sight ...
i'd like to know whether there were other witnesses, it's a pity i didn't have my cellphone with me, I could have recorded all this..

I feel very reluctant to claim that it was nevertheless an airplane or nevertheless a helicopter.
Unfortunately, to make sure that the thing was out of the ordinary, it should have been investigated to ensure among other things that there was no engine noise coming from the object, to obtain quantitative data such as estimated angular sizes in the different phases, trajectories, angular velocities, angular elevations, a reconstruction of the jerked moves, etc.
Unidentified, but no quantitative data.
