The regional newspaper Le Courrier de Saône-et-Loire for October 21, 1954, reported that "flying saucers reportedly flew over" the S.F.A.C. construction sites in Chalon-sur-Saône on October 18, 1954.
The newspaper explained that they had been informed that several "flying saucers" were seen by many members of the staff.
No description, no details, no further information was provided.

We are informed that several "flying saucers" reportedly flew over the S.F.A.C. construction sites in Chalon on Monday afternoon. Many staff members are said to have seen the mysterious craft.
The same event is said to have already occurred a few days earlier.
When will the mystery be solved?

With so little information, I do not see how the case can be assessed - except to say it may have involved military maneuvers.
