TUCUMAN, Argentina (AFP). -- A youngster of the area of Tucuman, in Argentina, claims to have been the witness with his father of the appearance in middle of the night of a UFO (unidentified flying object) of approximately 72 rods in length.
Whereas he was asleep, Manuel Rodolfo Rodriguez, indeed, was awaked by a sharp gleam which lit the surroundings of the family house at the same time as a violent wind rose. The young man then saw, apparently suspended at high voltage cables that passes at some distance, an oblong object, of some 72 rods length. On the central part of the object, specified Rodriguez, two discs with a halo of white light rotated at a vertiginous speed.
Father like son also declared that the leaves of the close trees were slightly burned, the day after the appearance, and that a persistent odor of sulphur floated in the air.
Note: the Rodriguez probably saw a short-circuit in the power lines.
