BUENOS AIRES (ABP)- The discovery of gigantic "mushrooms" in different places of Argentine territory once again draws the attention of the population to the possibility of the landing of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects), also called flying saucers.
These extraordinary "mushrooms" appeared first in the province of Santa Fe north of Buenos Aires, then at the end of this week, in Necochea, south of the capital.
The last one was spotted by a civilian pilot near his airstrip. He returned to the scene accompanied by several members of the Unidentified Objects Investigation Commission and several military personnel. These people found that the ground was completely charred for a diameter of 19 feet where the UFO had landed. Inside the circle were eight white mushrooms.
Official and scientific circles have not yet given any explanation for this phenomenon, which some newspapers attribute to radiation of extraterrestrial origin.
Interest in the frequent sightings of UFOs and the strange effects they cause has been heightened in recent days by a rumor from Lima that the "flying saucers" came from a base in the depths of Lake Titicaca. According to local residents, "UFOs leave each time in the direction of the lake and, there, disappear".
This was not the first time that strange mushrooms have been associated with alleged UFO landing sites.
