Nancy. -- Long moments of research and various explanations during the night from Thursday to Friday in Varangéville near Nancy. It was around 4 a.m. when a CRS 3 patrol spotted two relatively large and very bright objects in the Nancy sky.
The first reaction of the CRS and the few witnesses who observed the phenomenon was to reject the hypothesis of stars. In fact, the two bright objects appeared much brighter and much larger than stars. In addition, a thin, very luminous cord seemed to connect them to each other.
Immediately the police were informed - they are the ones who have the monopoly on investigations into UFOs. Very quickly one dispatched a photographer to Saint-Nicolas-de-Port with a camera specially equipped to photograph luminous objects in the sky.
For several hours, police officers, gendarmes, witnesses wondered about these "funny" UFOs which remained singularly in the same place, perfectly still, as sparkling as ever. The explanation was known early in the morning. No UFO there, just a somewhat exceptional meteorological phenomenon and perhaps a bit of collective psychosis.
In fact, the two luminous objects are perfectly identified since they are the planets Saturn and Venus. The difference with the other evenings: they were particularly visible, a cold falling quickly in the atmosphere having precipitated the mist, transforming it into frost. An explanation given by the Nancy-Tomblaine weather station. Moreover, at daybreak the famous UFOs had disappeared.
