Return of UFOs in Oise

AN "ORANGE LIGHT" ESCORTS A CAR TO BEAUVAIS

DECIDENTLY, UFOs seem to be back in the Paris region. The same day, that is to say Friday, when several inhabitants of Bonneuil-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) observed three brilliant objects in the sky (see "LE PARISIEN LIBERE" on Saturday), two employees of the La Brosse and Dupont factory, in Beauvais (Oise), were witnesses to a very strange phenomenon.

Coming by car around 4:30 a.m. from Hodenc-en-Bray (Oise), where they live, they suddenly saw a light as big as a headlight and orange in color. It approached their vehicle and escorted them to the entrance to Beauvais, in the Saint-Just-des-Marais district, where it disappeared as quickly like it appeared.

Very moved and relieved at the same time, they told the story of their misadventure to their workmates. They saw skeptical smiles bloom on more than one face... But, without commenting on the identity of the "thing" which accompanied them, they maintained their story.

In any case, this appearance does not constitute a great "first" in the department. Already at the beginning of this year, between New Year's Eve and Epiphany, UFO sightings had increased.

In Ormoy-Villers, a motorist and his children saw an orange sphere take off in a field which exploded after traveling several hundred meters. In Blargies, a young man of sixteen years old, going to work in the Seine-Maritime, saw a multicolored ball "as big as a house" flying away in a spiral at dizzying speed.

In Saint-Leu-d'Esserent and in the Creillois basin, several people, including the gendarmes and a firefighter, had followed the moves of a luminous sphere. In Margny-lès-Compiègne, the guards of 6 R.H.C. (combat helicopter regiment) had been intrigued by the comings and goings of an orange ball above the camp. The day before, in the Montdidier region, on the northern edge of the department, the crews of three aircraft from the same unit had followed, for an hour, the ballet of an orange spot.

Not to mention around ten observations including a landing report, carried out in the Songeonnais and near Saint-Leu-d'Esserent, between 1969 and 1975.

Two points features of most of these apparitions: they correspond to periods of frost, therefore to a clearer sky, and the dominant color is orange.
