"MYSTERY" CLEARED UP:

The Norwegian flying saucer was an American helicopter

Its pilot is, in turn, a victim of disbelief

Oslo, August 27 (U.P.).

The "Martian" traveling through space aboard a "flying saucer" and encountered by two respectable Norwegian women in the north of the country has been found.

His name is Bailey Faurot; he admitted that, as an American aviator in Germany passing through Norway, he had landed with his Sikorsky-type helicopter, met the two ladies and, faced with their obvious gullibility, could not resist the pleasure of fooling them.

Yet the police officer examining, near Mosjoeen, the site where, according to the statements of the two Norwegian women, the flying saucer supposedly landed, stated that it was absolutely impossible for a helicopter to set down there.

"I would very much like to see this aviator," he exclaimed. "I really don't think a helicopter could land in that spot."

Furthermore, the local newspaper "Nordlands Framtid" declared today that it was in a position to affirm that no helicopter landed in the vicinity on the day when these ladies claimed to have encountered the "flying saucer" and the "inhabitant of Mars."
