The flying saucers, from now on called in a more "scientific" manner "unidentified flying object" made their reappearance in Provence, in the Lubéron. Indeed, last Sunday, around 08:30 p.m., a couple of Apt, Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Volot who were in their car, on the road of Goult, in the hamlet of les Cordiers, saw a luminous object in the sky. This red "object", flickered and moved very quickly, at an altitude of 1.000 meters approximately. Mr. and Mrs. Volot stopped in order to better observe the machine which did not resemble any known apparatus and which, coming from the South, moved towards the Mont-Ventoux. At a certain time, the object was even immobilized during more than one minute, swivelled on itself and took the direction of the North-West to disappear behind the mounts of Vaucluse on the level of the village of Lioux.
