SAINT-BRIEUC. -- Mr. Georges Rocaboy, from Plessala (Côtes-du-Nord), was returning home around midnight, accompanied by a neighbor, Mr. Gaudin. The two motorists suddenly saw a sort of luminous tube about 50 meters away, they said. Four hundred meters higher was another, much larger tube, whose flight seemed to control that of the second.
The two stacked craft descended slowly, emitting lights of various colors. The motorists suddenly had the impression that the flying cigars were rushing toward their car. Panicked, they fled across the fields and alerted a neighbor, Mr. Perrin. He also observed the phenomenon, which quickly disappeared.
