A unidentified flying object has been sighted around 08:30 P.M. on Friday evening by a motorist driving along the Provincial One highway, between Castellazzo and Sillavengo.
The UFO has been described in great detail by the witness, who telephoned the police on "112" in order to report what was happening.
It was a very large craft that emitted light of an intense light green color. The object travelled at high speed coming from from Nord-West and seemed in all approximately two thousand meters. It contained what appeared to be tails arranged in the front and behind. The sight lasted for several seconds and no other witnesses in that area have come forward.
The police officers in order to obtain accurate information in respect of the phenomenon, contacted the control tower of Milan-Linate airport. Radar operators could not confirm seeing the object but were aware of a similar sighting from Novi Ligure, in the Province of Alexandria.
Informed of the event, local UFO researcher Mauro Roncaglia said, "the description made from these observer would exclude a bolide or a meteorite. The specifics of the phenomenon are practically identical in two various localities and deserves attention."
